Maryster farm puppies.

January 10th, 2009, Stonlea Shelby, my yellow Lab, had her 8 puppies this morning between 8 am and noon. They are by a lovely Male dog from Virginia whose name is Mack. Both parents have had their hips certified good and Shelby has had her eyes done as well. There are 4 boys and 4 girls and so far they are all doing well.. Hence there will be 8 lovely puppies for sale. I will post some pictures as soon as I get some downloaded.

  1. Been a long time since I posted anything on this and I have been so busy that I just forget to post on it. June 18th I met several friends to head on out on a great western adventure with our horse. 7 people, 6 horses and 3 big rigs. We departed at 5:15 AM and at 5:30 I had had an accident with the camper having dropped off the shoulder at an unfortuante spot----no shoulder and a big drop off and culvert. Flattend the RF truck tire, moved the axles of camper back a foot or more. Big problem BUT by 12:30 PM I had borrowed my sister Ruth's LQ trailer and we were on the road again. We had to alter our plan the next day as with 1/2 day lost, we could not make the 2 days of riding at Bryce NP. The upside was that we got an extra day at Yosemite NP. It was quite a trip and the riding was awesome. A lot of drama happened almost everyday. However, we persevered through all the drama, the horses (and one mule) all did extremely well even with some days of 105 degree temps. Yosemite was really wonderful and my 6 days of riding there was so memorable. From there we went to Flagstaff, AZ to ride in the San Francisco Peaks, north of town. It was wonderful high country and a good break on our way home. Finally Home on July 4th after 5170 miles and 17 days and lots of drama.
Now a month later I feel like maybe I am getting sort of caught up. I am still awaiting a resolution on the camper which appears to be totalled but I have not gotten a final notice on it.
