Both parents have had their hips certified good and Shelby has had her eyes done as well. There are 4 boys and 4 girls and so far they are all doing well.. Hence there will be 8 lovely puppies for sale. I will post some pictures as soon as I get some downloaded.

Florida Trip

The Day after Christmas I headed to Florida with a large group of friends, as I was invited to go to the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park for 7 days of riding between Christmas and New Year's Weekend. Kathy Caudill went with me and we travelled down sort of with Roy and Linda Cornett of Georgetown, KY. It was rainy, foggy and nasty all the way to Live Oak, Florida. BUT---we had 7 gorgeous days of riding then came home in the rain and fog again. While there we not only rode on and around the Park on the Suwannee River and Florida Water Management, but also at the Goethe State Forest, The beach at Amelia Island near Jacksonville, and the RO Ranch, south of Live Oak. Billy and Kathy Morgan, their daughter Katie May and another cousin, Katie Jo, from Bowling Green, Ky Joined us and after 6 days of wonderful riding we then took a fabulous kayak trip down the Suwannee River and that was a real highlight.
All in all it was a great trip and it was hard to return to the "cold north"

Today in Kentucky has been cold and blustery and rainy and even ice crystals falling from the clouds. All the animals have their butts to the wind and are munching down on their hay/food. The two labs know how to weather it.

We are all hoping for a sunny and warmer weekend soon to arrive.

Some of our friends.

Elizabeth and Marcus are at Maryster Farm West and have been having a slow but somewhat successful show season. Marcus has been a challenge in lots of ways but at time he really can be brilliant.

Welcome

I have been to a class at CKCS and learned all about Blogs and hopefully this will supply a need/want for a website without the cost and the technical learning curve.

I will hope to learn how to add pictures and descriptions and make it work for fun and communication.

We have the East division of Maryster Farm in Kentucky and West division in Lindale, Texas.

Recreational horses for showing, trail riding and recreational driving.

newbie

Hi, I am Learning how to set up a blog for Maryster Farm and a few have permission to view at least until I learn how to do this. I am in hopes this can be done instead of a Website.

I went to CKCS class and got this information.

Maryster Farm has two units----East is in Kentucky and ----West is in Lindale, Texas.

Pictures are welcome and we will be posting pictures, show results, sheep activities and of course some wonder dog activities.

This should be fun.
